In preparation for an early retirement from the
teaching profession, my wife, Linda , and I had been

In late 2006, I knew I would need to find a way to work at home by the following school year. My husband and I have had gotten married in Sept 2005 and each brought 2 children to the marriage. Our boys, Josh and Tyler, would both be going to high school. However, they would attend separate high schools in the same city. Our daughter, Kymber, would be coming to live with us as well and would be attending middle school and our youngest, Cheyenne, would be in preschool. So, I would be transporting 4 children to and from 4 different schools each day. This was just not possible at my current job as a Medical Credentialing Manager for a large Physical Therapy company.
I began looking online and found quite a few scams that promised instant wealth. Then, I found Motivated Moms. What a refreshing change! They promised with work and dedication, this business would work. However, this wasn’t something for nothing. I would need to make my own hours, give up some TV time and contact other moms that were looking to work from home. What I really liked was there was no cold-calling whatsoever and I would truly be working from home.
I am now home with my children and making those trips to 4 different schools. Next year, with Josh getting his driver’s license, Tyler and Kymber going to the same high school and Cheyenne starting Kindergarten, I will only be driving to 2 schools. I will be able to participate in Cheyenne’s school activities because I work from home. This is something I missed with Josh and I am so thankful to be able to do with Cheyenne.
I now look forward to bringing my husband home from his job as an electrician in the next couple years. How amazing for my husband to be able to retire at 40! Our children will also have college funds, we will be debt free and have a retirement plan. Those are things I never could have dreamed of.
The best part of all of this: Since our company is environmentally sensitive, I have completely eliminated Cheyenne’s asthma symptoms. She went from 4-5 breathing treatments every day to absolutely none within a week! That’s absolutely amazing!
